[on Phil Anselmo] I think that he's probably one of the more enigmatic frontman of our time. He's tremendously inspirational to vocalists throughout the genre including myself. I know that there's some weirdness regarding the "incident," but I certainly know that Phil would have never in his darkest thoughts ever have wanted any harm to befall Dime. You know the world is a very, very extreme place. When a fan gets so connected to a band that the demise of the band, however they want to interpret it, leads them to question their own lives and their existence... I mean it's weird. But, of course, great ideas are often simultaneously conceived by several people who have responded in a similar way to the climate of thinking, and it can be hard to pin down when and precisely how a flash of inspiration is born. Kaplan had taught me that good ideas are a dime of dozen for a smart person, and the only thing that distinguishes good from great is in how an idea is executed-how it becomes reality. This is a superfight. I look up at that poster and I see myself tucked in the back there. I see a guy who has.. his last gate was $1.7 million, he fought on free tv. He's never brought a dime to the company, he's never made a dime, yet he is sitting there on the front of my poster. I think that's a department that needs to be looked at, somebody is sleeping on the job.
