I feel like sometimes that I was born, that I'm not meant for this society because everyone here is a fucking hypocrite. Everybody says they believe in God but they don't do God's work. Everybody counteracts what God is really about. If Jesus was here, do you think Jesus would show me any love? Do you think Jesus would love me? I'm a Muslim, but do you think Jesus would love me ... I think Jesus would have a drink with me and discuss ... why you acting like that? Now, he would be cool. He would talk to me. No Christian ever did that and said in the name of Jesus even ... They'd throw me in jail and write bad articles about me and then go to church on Sunday and say Jesus is a wonderful man and he's coming back to save us. But they don't understand that when he comes back, that these crazy greedy capitalistic men are gonna kill him again.

We don't love Jesus enough. If you go to church, you know He loves you, because you hear it all the time. But do we love Him? I know I don't tell Him enough. As part of my personal relationship with Jesus, when I get up in the morning, I tell Him, "I need you to know I love you.” And, forgiveness the heart and soul of the movie: forgiving at all costs. It's hard for Christians, whether we're working in the film business, or living in the Third Reich, but that's why we're Christian. Our Lord has told us to pray "... forgive us our trespasses, as we forgive those who trespass against us...” We may feel this is hard, but how we feel has nothing to do with it. What is important is obedience; we must obey Christ's command. Is following Christ's command easy? No. But it is the way of the great.

If the Catholic Church hadn't so consistently and virulently condemned the Jews for killing Jesus, there would have been no Holocaust. There would have been no reason for anyone to think about picking on Jews. And that means today there might be no Jewish state, and no Middle East conflict. That's quite a lot to have on your conscience, isn't it? How fortunate for the Catholic Church that it doesn't possess a conscience, but at least it gives ordinary Catholics an opportunity to feel guilty about something real for a change, if they feel so inclined, and to reflect on the reality that the Jews didn't kill Jesus at all. The Catholic Church killed Jesus, and has spent the last two thousand years dragging his entrails through the dirt. And if he came back tomorrow, he'd be the first to say so. You know it's true. We all do.
